For this edition of “MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges” is CHRISTINE MILD, a Chicago-based actress, singer, performer whose career started  at age 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada.   Mild is joined in studio to perform live acoustic versions of songs from her debut album, “LOVE IS EVERYTHING,” with her guitarist, arranger and producer, MALCOLM RUHL.

A graduate of Northwestern University where she majored in Theatre, with a concentration in Music Theatre, Mild is a an Actor’s Equity member and has performed in musicals around the country, and has been  featured on several cast recordings.   Christine’s first solo music album, “LOVE IS EVERYTHING,” was released this summer and during the course of this program listens have the opportunity to hear her music both live and from the CD.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
