Music of Heartsfields In Memory of Greg "Ziggy" Biela


They released a three excellent albums for Mercury and one for Columbia, and over the course of those albums and years, the band offered up such memorable FM hits as -- "The Only Time I'm Sober Is When You're Gone," "Racin' The Sun," "Gypsy Rider," "The Wonder of It All," and "House of the Living." 

Some of those songs and a few others will be heard tonight on the program as I and Chicago country rock musician BERNIE GLIM share some history on the band and pick some favorite songs on this special memorium to Greg on Midwest Beat

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
