Leaving no perspective unchallenged, On Point opens with a news brief analyzing the day's biggest stories, followed by an in-depth conversation decoding a single topic with newsmakers, thinkers, and callers, and closes with compelling personal reactions to news and important issues, including radio diaries, excerpts from speeches, or special series segments.
The Takeaway is a daily national news program focused on you. What you know and what you share helps to shape our daily discussion. You can hear us weekdays across America (check out our station map below - all times Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated). The Takeaway is driven by America's national conversation — if a conversation connects or you have a valuable perspective, we want you to share your experience. These contributions help us deliver fresh insights and analysis on the day’s news.
The World's unique editorial perspective brings energy and passion to each day's broadcast. The goal: to take us beyond borders and boundaries, and fire up our curiosity about a fascinating, messy, contentious, and beautiful planet. It's about exploration and risk, war and peace, fun and folly, and how our daily drama plays out around the globe.
