Regionally Speaking, Wednesday, September 29, 2021

Today: INvestEd's vice president of marketing Bill Wozniak is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about how northwest Indiana students and their parents can apply to access $350 million in free state financial aid for a post-secondary education.  The FAFSA filing season is getting underway.  Indiana Public Broadcasting's Rebecca Thiele has a report on what may be a declining concern about whether it's safe to bring reusable shopping bags into stores.  And we revisit our conversation with Gary attorney Tracy Coleman and her clients who are suing the state of Indiana and a local election board, to attempt to bring control of the Gary Community School Corp. back to the city of Gary and its taxpayers. The federal court lawsuit is about the 2020 $72 million, eight year referendum.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
