Indiana Youth Institute on the 2022 Kids Count Data Book
Indiana’s child well-being rank improves to 28th in the country for the first time in four years, according to the 2022 KIDS COUNT® Data Book that’s from the 2022 Kids Count Data Book, released by the Indiana Youth Institute on Monday. The 2022 KIDS COUNT®Data Book, is an annual 50-state report of recent household data developed by the Annie E. Casey Foundation in partnership with the Indiana Youth Institute and it analyzes how children and families are faring. Indiana has the second highest ranking among neighboring states including Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. Tami Silverman, President and CEO of the Indiana Youth Institute spoke with Lakeshore Public Radio's Dee Dotson to talk about what this research means for youth right here in Indiana.
