Executive Power & Legal Questions about Immigration
Purdue Northwest & Lakeshore Public Media co-host topical discussion 2/28
HAMMOND, Ind. – Two Purdue University Northwest faculty members and an alumnus attorney will discuss in panel format “Executive Power & Legal Questions about Immigration” at 5 p.m., Tuesday (2/28) on PNW’s Hammond Campus.
The event, offered collaboratively with Lakeshore Public Radio (89.1 FM), will take place on the concourse level of the Student Union & Library in Room with a View. Chris Nolte, host of “Regionally Speaking," will serve as moderator. Admission is free. Audience members will have an opportunity to direct questions to the panel.
Comprising the panel are Associate Professor of Political Science and constitutional legality expert Frank Colucci; Assistant Professor of Political Science Yu Ouyang, who offers insights about U.S. presidential power, and Alfredo Estrada, a PNW graduate, associate attorney and immigration expert with the Northwest Indiana firm of Burke Costanza & Carberry LLP.
The one-hour discussion also will be recorded for delayed broadcast on "Regionally Speaking."
