Hammond, IN - A mostly peaceful  protest in Hammond, Indiana Tuesday afternoon resulted in  the arrest of one man and police using pepper spray on a crowd of about a hundred young people.

An Indiana State Police sergeant said the spray was used to keep demonstrators from access to a busy interstate highway.  The protest was in reaction to the killing of George Floyd.  A Minneapolis police officer has been charged.
