NO QUARTER: Getting the LED Out To Fans Around The Globe

May 28, 2019

They may look and sound like Led Zeppelin, but in reality, it's the Seattle-based international Zep Tribute group NO QUARTER!

This edition of  "MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges" originally aired on TUESDAY, MAY 28, 2019

Guest:  BRYAN CHRISTIANSEN of National Led Zeppelin Tribute NO QUARTER

On this edition of "Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges," show host and producer Tom recognizes Led Zeppelin as one of rock music's most influential groups ever and discusses the band's legacty with a gifted guitarist who has come to make his living by being the embodiment of Zep's JIMMY PAGE!

Lounges chats during this program with guitarist BRYAN CHRISTIANSEN -- the founder and guitar-slinger of NO QUARTER -- the Seattle-based band who has been amazing audiences all over the world for over 20 years now.  Christiansen talks about how it all started for him and the band, shares stories of some of their collective travels, and how they replicate the Zep Experience for fans who never saw the real band perform and those who were born after the mighty Zep disbanded.

Christiansen even has authentic stage wear that replicates the look of Jimmy Page, while his dexterity on the six string (with both a pick and with a violin bow), replicate the sound of the legend's guitar, which changed the sound of rock 'n' roll forever!   Along with talking to the band leader, Lounges features a few classic ZEP songs as performed by NO QUARTER, so that listeners can hear for themselves just how close this group is to the real deal.

Christiansen guested on this week's program so as to promote the NO QUARTER show that he brought to  Chicago's HARD ROCK CAFE on Friday, May 31, 2019.
