Today:  Harry Vande Velde, CEO of Humane Indiana, based in Munster and with operations in Highland and Valparaiso, is in the studio to talk about the animal shelter, its history and how it expanded from helping stray animals find good homes -- to operating a resale store in Highland that financially supports the shelter -- to a expansive animal rescue and education center in Porter County.

We also bring back our conversations with Tami Silverman of the Indiana Youth Institute and with Valparaiso University Jazz Festival creator and Music Professor Jeffery Brown. The 2019 Jazz Festival is underway this week on the VU campus.
