Regionally Speaking December 2, 2022

Today: The month of November recognized National Men’s Health Awareness Month so we wanted to spend time addressing men’s mental health. We’re speaking with Heidi Darrah and Megan Wichlinski with Franciscan Health Michigan City’s Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. They offer share tips to help support all of the men in lives. We also speak with master electrician and children’s book author Joshua Page about his new book ‘What Does Your Daddy Do’? about encouraging youth to consider a career in the trades.  All of that on this edition of Regionally Speaking.

As co-host and producer of Regionally Speaking, Dee is responsible for connecting with northwest Indiana community newsmakers to share their stories with the Lakeshore Public Radio listening audience. As Vice President of Radio Operations, Tom is responsible for overseeing Lakeshore Public Radio. He oversees the radio station’s programming, as well as news. He was instrumental in bringing several different genres of music to Lakeshore Public Radio.
