The show… which began as an online talk show …within its first year quickly earned a slot on a major broadcast network. Since 2012 it has called PBS its home. Whitney Reynolds is the executive producer, host and owner of the show. The Whitney Reynolds show will debut the 11th Season opener Monday, October 12th at 6:00 pm on Lakeshore PBS.

Whitney Reynolds is the executive producer, host and owner of the show. The Whitney Reynolds show will launch the 9th season Monday, March 25th at 6:30 pm on Lakeshore PBS.

Today:   A conversation with Ken Davidson, of the "Northwest Indiana Gazette" blog, about his complaint filed in a Lake County court about decisions made by local organizations that do not, in his view, allow for more consistent public comment.  His request for judicial review focuses on the decisions made by the Regional Development Authority (RDA) and Northwest Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) boards on the South Shore Line expansion projects, and the West Lake Extension in particular.   The project is currently under review by federal transportation agencies.

CEDAR LAKE - Early week storms knocked out the transmitter of Northwest Indiana’s local TV station, Lakeshore PBS, and the station is still working to return to normal operation.

NORTHWEST INDIANA/CHICAGO - A City at War: Chicago, a new documentary by Executive Producer, Writer, Director John Davies, and by Co-Executive Producer, Editor and Director of Photography, Brian Kallies and hosted by Bill Kurtis, makes it National Public Television premiere this Memorial Day weekend on more than 100 stations.  Lakeshore Public Radio spoke with Kallies, who back in 2005 was a production manager at Lakeshore Public Television.  He is now living in Los Angeles and making documentaries like, A City at War: Chicago," which will air on Lakeshore PBS on May 28th at 9:00pm.
