Regionally Speaking Producer, Host of "Lakeshore Update"

As producer of Regionally Speaking as well as host and producer of Lakeshore Update, Dee is responsible for connecting with northwest Indiana community newsmakers to share their stories with the Lakeshore Public Radio listening audience. She believes in the power of storytelling to engage, teach and change lives. Prior to working at Lakeshore Public Radio, Dee enjoyed giving of her time, talent and resources to various community organizations.  Dee believes in servant leadership and her favorite quote is Leadership is service not position by Tim Fargo.

She is a proud Indiana University Northwest graduate and is a very active member of the local alumni association and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

When she’s not busy pouring over daily news, she is often planning the next big community event.

She rides in Calumet City, Il with her husband, children and beloved pooch Lexie (who loves nothing more than to bark and eat carrots).
