Rock-A-Billy Queen: WANDA JACKSON

plus... A Tribute To FATS DOMINO

JUSTIN MOORE who is currently riding high at country radio with his latest album "KINDA DON'T CARE,"  is bringing his "HELL ON THE HIGHWAY" tour to Star Plaza Theater on November 11 with special guest Dylan Scott.  Justin chats with Lounges here about his humble roots in a tiny town of less than 300 people, how his love of sports lead to his career in music, still being in disbelief that his career has done so well, and his gratefulness to the people who have made his career possible, from family to his production team, to his growing legion of fans.  Several of Moore's songs from his newest release are played, along with a couple of early hits from his past catalog.

The second segment of the program features country music legend WANDA JACKSON, known since the 1950s as "The Female Elvis" will be one of the featured guests on this installment of "Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges."   The Queen of Rockabilly will chat about her six years career, being a musical pioneer, her friendship with Elvis Presley, being produced by Jack White and Joan Jett, touring with various members of Sun Records' Million Dollar Quartet, and her new memoir, "Every Night is Saturday Night: A Country Girl's Journey to the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame."

The second segment also includes a tribute to legendary New Orleans' music maker and rock n' roll pioneer, FATS DOMINO, who passed away on October 24, 2017.   And opening the second half is a music-infused "This Day In Music History" segment.
