With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood Great Northwest recently launched vasectomy services in the Region. Rebecca Gibron will join us to talk more about it. Economic development opportunities around stations along the NICTD Westlake commuter rail corridor and the South Shore Line double-track project bring promise to transform neighborhoods In response, NIRPC released a new Transit Oriented Development (TOD) program funding to support these efforts and to improve the overall character and quality of life, access, and density around transit stations. Planning Manager Eman Ibrahim will tell us more about it. But up first, as we continue to recognize the achievements of African Americans in honor of Black History Month, Chuck Hughes joins us to talk about the life and legacy of former Gary Mayor Richard Gordon Hatcher.
